Free policy reviews

Does your coverage still fit your life?

Life changes. Your policy deserves another look. With a free policy review, we can help you understand what you have and whether it still meets your needs.

  • Understand potential cash value.

Review any existing cash surrender value, policy terms, and potential charges before considering a change.

  • Explore potentially lower premiums.

Compare your current policy with available options and explore whether lower premiums may be possible.

  • Consider additional coverage.

Discuss whether you may qualify for additional coverage based on your needs and insurer underwriting.

Results depend on your circumstances, underwriting, and policy terms. Savings, additional coverage, and cash payouts are not guaranteed. A review does not require replacing your existing policy.

Insurance solutions

Different paths. One personal decision.

The right starting point depends on your family, budget, and goals. Understand what each type of coverage offers—and the commitments that come with it.

01 / COVERAGE OPTION

Term Life

Protection for the years you need it most.

Coverage for a set period, often with lower starting premiums than permanent insurance. It can help address income replacement, a mortgage, or children’s needs if you die while covered.

Generally no cash value. Coverage ends with the term unless renewed or converted under the policy’s rules; renewal premiums may be higher.

02 / COVERAGE OPTION

Whole Life

Lasting protection. Predictable premiums.

Traditional whole life offers fixed premiums and cash value that grows according to a guaranteed schedule when policy requirements are met.

Generally higher premiums than term for the same benefit. Early cash values can be limited. Any dividends are not guaranteed.

03 / COVERAGE OPTION

Indexed Universal Life

Flexible protection with cash-value potential.

IUL combines a death benefit with flexible premiums and index-linked interest crediting. Cash value is not invested directly in the stock market.

Growth is not guaranteed. Charges, crediting limits, and insufficient funding can affect values and cause coverage to lapse. Ongoing review matters.

Suitability depends on your needs, budget, underwriting, and policy terms. Availability depends on actual carrier appointments and authorizations. No one policy type is right for everyone.

About Trevor

A conversation with someone who listens.

Trevor Ryan is a Marine Corps veteran, Port St. Lucie resident, and licensed independent life insurance agent. His approach is down-to-earth: listen to your questions, understand your priorities, and explain your options in plain language.

Your family.
Your priorities.
Guidance that starts there.

How it works

A simple place to begin.

You don’t need all the answers before we talk. We’ll work through the questions together.

  1. 01

    Start with a conversation.

Share your priorities, financial responsibilities, current coverage, and questions. Consultation times are coordinated by email.

  2. 02

    Understand your options.

Review available coverage and discuss premiums, policy terms, benefits, and limitations in plain language.

  3. 03

    Choose your next step.

Take the time you need to decide whether to apply or keep your existing coverage. Any application is subject to underwriting and policy requirements.

The independent approach

More perspective.
Less guesswork.

Working with an independent agent means a conversation centered on your needs, with room to compare available options rather than beginning with a single policy.

We can help you understand differences in premiums, benefits, and limitations so you can make an informed choice. Independence does not mean access to every insurer or a guarantee of the lowest rate.

Frequently asked questions

A little clarity before we talk.

How much life insurance do I need?

That depends on your income, debts, dependents, existing coverage, and goals. A conversation can help you consider these responsibilities and an amount that fits your budget.

What is included in a free policy review?

We can look at your current coverage, premiums, policy terms, and any existing cash surrender value. A review can explore potential lower premiums or additional coverage. Savings, additional coverage, and cash payouts are not guaranteed.

Should I replace my existing policy?

A review does not mean you should replace a policy. New coverage may require underwriting and could introduce costs, surrender charges, or new policy limitations. Understand the tradeoffs and keep existing coverage in place until any replacement is issued and effective.

How do Term Life, Whole Life, and IUL differ?

Term life covers a set period and generally has no cash value. Whole life offers permanent coverage with scheduled premiums and policy values when requirements are met. IUL offers flexible permanent coverage with index-linked crediting potential and ongoing funding and review needs.

Is IUL cash-value growth guaranteed?

Growth isn’t guaranteed. Caps, participation rates, spreads, and policy charges affect results and may change within contractual limits. Even with an index-crediting floor, charges can reduce cash value. Additional funding may be needed to prevent lapse; premium flexibility still requires careful planning. Illustrations are hypothetical, not predictions. IUL is life insurance, not a guaranteed investment or a retirement plan, and it does not promise tax-free income. Loans and withdrawals can reduce values and the death benefit, increase lapse risk, and have tax consequences.

How do I arrange a consultation?

Send a message through the contact form or email info@ryanlifeandlegacy.com. Consultation times are coordinated by email. Sending a message does not book an appointment or start insurance coverage.
